About Landings

Since 1989, Landings has helped thousands reignite their faith.

Why? Because it’s not about perfection — it’s about showing up.

A Bridge Back to Belonging

A ministry of the Paulist Fathers, Landings is where faith meets you exactly where you are. We help Catholic communities create a warm, judgment-free space for those who’ve drifted from the Church—whether due to doubt, distance, or disconnection. Through small groups led by everyday Catholics, we invite you to share your story, ask hard questions, and rediscover your faith alongside others on the same path.

For Returning Catholics: -

Whether you’re curious, hesitant, or longing to reconnect, we offer a “soft place to land.”

No lectures, no pressure—just honest conversations about life, God, and the Church.

Led by Neighbors, Not Experts: -

Active lay Catholics (just like you) host groups, blending their own journeys with Scripture and tradition.

It’s faith shared between people, not preached at them.

Rooted in Stories: -

Your experiences matter. Each session revolves around sharing struggles, hopes, and rediscoveries—

because God meets us in the messy, real stuff of life.

Questions are part of the journey —

here are some answers to help you take the next step.

1. What is Landings?

Landings is a ministry that welcomes Catholics seeking to return to the Church. Through small group conversations, prayer, and reflection, we offer a safe, non-judgmental space for you to rediscover your faith at your own pace.

2. Who is Landings for?

Landings is for any baptised Catholic who has been away from the Church — whether for months, years, or decades. Your reasons don’t matter; your return matters.

3. Do I have to share my story?

Only if you’re ready. Many begin by simply listening. We believe in meeting you with authenticity, right where you are — not where anyone thinks you should be.

4. How long is the programme?

Our programme runs for 10 weeks, with weekly 2-hour sessions. Each session blends personal sharing, compassionate listening, reflection on Scripture, and guided conversation.

5. Is there any cost?

No — Landings is a free ministry. Your only investment is your time and openness.

6. Do I need to know the Bible well?

Not at all. We journey together, so every question and every curiosity is welcome.

7. What if I’m not sure I believe everything anymore?

Faith is a journey — and doubts are part of it. At Landings, we listen to one another’s stories with openness and respect, often finding echoes of our own struggles, discoveries, and growing understanding of our Catholic identity.

8. How do I get started?

Simply fill out our enquiry form, and we’ll reach out with the next available session dates and details.

“God places no obstacles

in the way of those who seek him with a contrite heart,

because he goes out to meet everyone like a father.”
