About
LANDINGS is an international, parish-based ministry that was founded by the Paulist Fathers in the 1980s. In the past 15 years, the LANDINGS programme has helped over 40,000 Catholics who have left or drifted away from the Catholic Church and who would like to explore the possibility of returning to the Church and receiving her Sacraments.
LANDINGS OFFERS RETURNING CATHOLICS
- a supportive community, within which we can ask questions, discuss issues, deal with difficulties
- an opportunity to be with ordinary Catholics who are trying to live our faith
- a safe environment to come to terms with recent changes within the Church and ourselves
LANDINGS OFFERS ACTIVE CATHOLICS
- a participation in the Church’s evangelisation mission by opening our hearts to those who have been away
- an opportunity to share our time and grow
- a chance to grow and learn from the spiritual journeys of one another
WHILE LANDINGS IS NOT
- the “saved” welcoming the “sinners”
- people pressurising others to return
- full of answers to teach the unenlightened
- blind to the hurt the Church may have caused someone

LANDINGS IS
People in solidarity with the returning, who in our own lives have “returned”, and continue to do so. We are founded on the belief that we do not have to be trained theologians to share what we believe, and to speak honestly about our faith, trusting in the Holy Spirit.
